Does conservatism need its own "woodstock"

I remember "Dan's bake sale" years ago. It's where a caller was trying to raise money in order to buy the Limbaugh newsletter. The crowds where large (80,000).

I wonder if the conservative movement needs another "bake sale".....its own Woodstock.

After two or three years possibly of Obama we will be THIRSTING for REAL CONSERVATISM to make its return in the United States of America. How about a Millionman/woman march on the capital in 2010? Guest speakers ... Fred Thompson, Sarah Palin, Mike Huckabee, Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Bobby Jindall, etc, etc. Hopefully, we won’t have to have a march. GO SARAH! GO JOHN!

I second that motion. Would some rich Freeper in the central US please offer Palin the use of about 1000 acres. She will be the main speaker, and I vote Ted Nugent as one of the acts.

One day country, crystal gayle stuff, and next a we drive to DC with pitch forks, tar and feathers!!!!!!

In 2010 with such a lineup of “guest speakers” that “march” would be titled the “I told you so” march.

We are having “conservative woodstocks” all over the nation right now. Everywhere Palin and/or McCain/Palin go, 20 or 30 thousand conservatives show up together. What a great time to fellowship while standing in line for hours!

Guest speakers include ......

Speakers are good but they just tickle our intellect!

We need our own Jimma Hendrix who would rile up our emotions....motivate us to turn in our plowshares and sharpen our swords, get some spear chuckers instead of speakers, put on some steel knuckles, etc. etc.

Yes we do...

You know we have had our civil rights taken away from us with a biased press and media. We should be outraged.

We’ve had illegal voter registration going on by predominately black associations like ACORN... We should be outraged.

We’ve had a President and mainstream media re-define what conservatism is by bastardizing it and using it in name only. The media associates conservatism with this president..conservatism isn’t about creating gigantic new cabinet level offices...conservatism isn’t about spending trillions of tax payers dollars and growing the size of government. Conservatism isn’t about a government take over of the financial markets.... We should be outraged.

Yes we need to protest much the way hippies did at Woodstock.

We should create so much noise that nothing can get done in Washington. We should demand a balanced budget amendment with a freeze on all taxes....

And if Obama is elected we should demand a revolution against his administration and demand for conservative alternatives to his presidency.

win or lose, we need a grassroots movement for conservative ideas. The party is not interested in promoting these ideas, despite the fact that the people yearn for it. See Palin’s impact on this election. We need to promote ideas, not candidates, and get things back on track. If God forbid, Obama wins this thing, we will be battling government run health care amongt other socialist moves. Even if McCain wins, we have to impact public opinion to change the course of politics. We have been without a spokesperson since Newt and Reagan. It is time for the people to organize.

Yes I do. I believe its long past due. How would we get the media to cover such an event? They would ignore it if it happened right outside the NBC studio.

After twor three years of Obamination conservatives won’t be allowed to have a million man/woman march. Only leftists will be allowed to. If we do want to it will be illegal hatespeech.
