CAMBRIDGE, MA _I live in a place with registration 80% dem and 7% republican. I actually don’t see many Obama signs around here but I have been accosted a couple times by some “youths” asking “give me a dollah—I want Obama”. I walk past them and say something like “next time”.
There is a definite tension in the air. Even the liberals feel it. We have a totally corrupt, gay black man as mayor of the city (Ken Reeves—scammed 50k by running up the city credit card without receipts) and the usual assembly of drunk drivers, demented hard lefties, all living in a dream world. We have junkies and winos arrested over 50 times (!) and released to the sreets. Cambridge is not quite as bad as Berkeley but in the summer up to 20 or 30 bums pass out on the grass at City Hall every night.
We have 4th generation welfare cases and obscene business taxes. Without Harvard and MIT subsidizing the place it would collapse within minutes.
The city police force and fire fighters, sadly are part of a sick, long standing scam called detail work. There are over 200+ employees of the city who make well over 100k here—thx to the detail work scams.
Obama lived here once—he amassed about 40 unpaid parking tickets during his years here. He just parked anywhere he wanted—and skipped town.
If that maggot is actually elected, I truly wonder if people like me will go on a list of undesirables. It is almost a hate crime already here to be conservative or a republican here.
Lots of people here know the empty worthless suit Deval Patrick who is a good model for what Obama might be like. Axelrod ran the Patrick campaign and used the same mindless slogans about hope and change etc.
Obviously Obama is hiding something about his past and the people should be demanding his original birth certificate, release of school records, medical records etc. It is unimaginable that a politician could be elected without showing actual proof of eligibility for the presidency. Utterly absurd and Orwellian. Somebody has GOT to get this out there! If he was legally eligible, I would actually feel a bit better if the bastard won.
