I trust three polls:
IBD
Battleground (non-partisan)
Gallup (Traditonal LV model)
The rest are noise....
Also, the polling this weekend will be terrible. Mark my words. All the parents will be out on Halloween and all the married couples without kids will be at parties. The same thing happened in 2004.
IBD has been really good this time around, and another one I semi like is Mason Dixon, they can be a little behind sometimes, but IMO they have the right metrics working for this election.
Prediction for Zogby - Obama with 23% of the conservative vote
I think he’s starting to realize that Barack isn’t all that and McCain has the Big Mo.
Why does Rasmussen leave off Texas in his electoral numbers? It makes it look much worse for McCain. He only has 49 states listed with safe GOP at 65 and Texas in not on the list.
Obama’s best case scenario is a “Landslide like Reagan,” minus more than 100 electoral votes. Sheesh.
Do Axelrod, Obama, and Zogby actually believe there own garbage?
Does Zogby even post internals? I can not find his sampling. It must be fun to make it up and know that no one can take them apart. Maybe he is just saving money and doing the RCP poll averages and re-packaging them to look like the middle number...
So then before the year is out, he can also cancel Christmas, replace it with Obama Day, sign a peace treaty with Iran, and begin rounding up those pesky dissenters.
I predict 13, and he will call it the Billy Mays Special Sauce Bump!

Keep an eye on one number...50%...a candidate who is at 50% going into the last weekend of the election rarely loses.
Now take that with a grain of salt, in 2000 GWB was at 50%, and the polls are all over the map, but look for across the board consistency of 50% in the majority of polls, especially watch IBD/TIPP.
I’ve seen him post internal, and the last time I checked, McCain was up in more state polls then are being shown now.

You’d think Zogby would stop to question why there are such big swings in his polling over and over again, but I guess that would negate the fun for him.
I find it intresting that Obama has dropped below 50 in the RCP average. and that includes the MSM Obama bombs.

It’s 7% even now.
Frank Luntz’s focus group panned the infomercial. I predicted only a tiny bump because that’s all Zogby could do to “sauce” the appearance that the infomercial worked and still look at himself in the mirror.
