Nobama's now-revealed plans to destroy the coal industry -which only produces about 50% of our electricity for pete's sake! - got me to thinking...

You've heard of...a children's menu???...certainly children's books?? and maybe children's story hour at the public library??

Well, now, my FRiends, to quote John McCain, we have in Senator Nobama, the Children's Candidate!

Yep that's what he is the Candidate for the Children, for you ARE a child if you believe in his nonsense...you can't even call them fairy tales, because those old gems often have strains of truth and morals to them.

Nope, this Obama character is the Child Candidate for the Children who hope adoringly for "change"....They believe he'll pay their bills, fill their gas tanks, make all those bad people go away by **poof** "talking to them"...

Well, it's been an amazing spectacle, and it's not over.

But us Adults have to...WILL... show up to vote on Tues.

Childhood is fine for about 15 years, then it's time to move on to responsibilities, liberty based in self-discipline, and all sorts of achievements depending on our choices.

Know any voters like I've described? Divert them to the toy story on Tues....

I don't have anything in the markets. But my mom is living on her investments. She's in her 60’s and has health problems. So I'm going to have to find a way to earn more money to help her out. The markets are filled with billionaires. But we must never forget that big oil, big pharmaceutical, big snack foods, are owned by middle class Americans. Evil corporate America as defined by the left, is evil middle class America. And it absolutely sucks to realize that family and friends are having their fincical security destroyed by same imbeciles that the nation voted huge majorities to yesterday.

Surly you’ve been in a grocery store or Walmart when one of the “poor” buys? I’m always amazed how much they spend. I saw one woman buy a leather, white belt with pink studs which cost $99.00. When she walked out of the gift store the owner looked at me and just smiled. AND I thought, my tax money at work.

I saw on another thread that Sarah apologized for possibly costing McCain votes. What a class act and no, Sarah, you did not cost votes, you brought them in. Compare that action to Mr. BHO who saluted McCain with the middle finger!

But I stipulated purchases leading to MEANINGFUL economic growth. Consumables don’t fall in that category as much although all spending is important for our economy.

With everybody retrenching and spending less the economy is bound to be affected. But to think that giving low income people a handout and expect it to trickle up (?!) is ridiculous. IMO.

I see what you describe every time I go to the local’s HEB. They walk out with a grocery cart filled with meat and ring up an actual cash bill of ten bucks. The rest is courtesy of TX Lone Star cards.
