Every time I hear somebody--by which I mean Bill Bennett, because that's who's on at the moment--"congratulate" President-elect Obama, I think of a helpless baby gasping and suffering in a dirty laundry closet at Christ Hospital in Chicago. I will no more "congratulate" Obama for his election than I would send a congratulatory card to Hugo Chavez or Yasir Arafat upon winning an "election."
People are calling Bill Bennett saying, "We shouldn't act like the Democrats." And he's agreeing.
I won't act like a Democrat. I won't start calling Obama a chimp, or a drunk, or an idiot.
Instead--in sharp contrast to a Democrat--I will speak the truth. I will call Obama a baby-murderer, a liar, a radical, a Communist, a law-breaker.
If, later this morning, I hear Rush or Glenn Beck say "congratulations" to the baby-murderer, even once, even pro-forma, I will lose respect for them.

NO. What makes us better than the Dems is that we are not baby-murderers. Not being baby-murderers means that we can be ten times as “uncivil” as the Dems, and STILL be better than the Dems.

He’s bracing for the “fairness” doctrine.
And I don't want to be better than the dems at this point. That went a long way toward getting us Obama. I want to beat them on every point, in every way. War to the knife. Knife to the hilt [metaphorically speaking]. Because you can't govern wisely, or fairly, unless you are in power.
I'd like to think that's the case, but realistically, the constant savaging of GWB by the Libs and his inability or unwillingness to defend himself helped set the state for BHO's victory.
I fear the "we're better than them" mentality will result in Lib domination for a generation. The Libs are street fighters and don't play by the rules.
The reason Republicans are losers is that the don’t realize Democrats are the enemy. They want to work with them, treat them fairly, treat them as they would want to be treated. Democrocrats take every opportunity to destroy Republicans. That is why they are stronger. Republicans are fools.
Yes, I listened too until I couldn’t take it any more. “We shouldn’t act like the Democrats did for the last 8 years,” and for that the caller got a free Bulova watch.
The Democrats are going to act exactly like they’ve acted for the last 8 years, except that now they will be on steroids.
The last thing we need to do is play footsie with them. We need to thwart them as hard and as often as we can.
Hatred is what wins.
We hated Germany, and Japan, and that’s what won WW2. Our guys in the field hated the Nazis so much that if one village even fired a shot at us, they burnt the place to the ground.
Reagan hated liberalism with a passion. So much that he could do it with a smile on his face.
“My friends across the aisle” is not hate.
The biggest unanswered question is: Why didn’t President Bush defend himself?
I agree! It is going to be a long four years, and the defeat yesterday does not mean that we have to roll over and sit every time a liberal snaps his fingers! 0bama stole the election through a well organized effort. I will not congratulate him just to be "civil"
One other thing: 0bama will NEVER BE MY PRESIDENT
