My oldest didn't want to go to school today either, and WE HOMESCHOOL! She is thirteen and very much a political junkie. I got her hooked on Rush this past year. She is distraught because she will still be 17 next election and will not be able to vote. She has gone to the vote with me from the time she could walk.

Your daughter sounds like my son - we also homeschool. He’s 17 this year and was upset he couldn’t vote!

my youngest is the one i was mentioning and she is 14 and in middle school, 8th grade. it is astounding to me that she WILL be able to vote in the next presidential election! she and my now 17 yo son will be two new republicans come next presidential election. my oldest is a sophomore studying abroad in Rome with the U of Dallas, and she voted absentee.
