"Moderate" Republicans demanded (and were given) carte blanche opportunity to demonstrate, once and for all, that they knew how to win at the national level, this year.

They got exactly the candidate they wanted. They got exactly the party platform they demanded. The campaign was run exactly the way they insisted it be run.

How'd that end up working out for us, again...?

They actually managed to lose to a one-term Senate Marxist with open and unapologetic terrorist ties. The ONLY thing I want to hear from Team McCain or any of its shrill little online apologists, from this day forward, is a meek and contrite: "We're sorry."

They have nothing else worthwhile what. so. EVER. to contribute to any meaningful discussion, re: either conservatism or winning electoral strategies.

It was the late-added presence of SARAH which energized an otherwise moribund and apathetic conservative voting base.

It was SARAH who drew record-shattering crowds, everywhere she went on behalf of a sour and ungrateful McCain campaign.

Friendly little word of warning to any/all RINOs out there reading this, and thinking about standing in the way between this woman and the conservative base that adores her, anytime during the next four years:

You're expendable to us. SHE isn't.

Maybe Sarah should take over the gop and make it the GOP again!

Remember the name Steve Schmidt.

Steve Schmidt was the senior campaign strategist and advisor to John McCain.

Steve Schmidt is the one that is primarily responsible for screwing up the campaign.

Steve Schmidt is the one spreading all the gossip about Sarah Palin.

Remember Steve Schmidt. He is no friend of the conservative base.

The prissy Carl Cameron lives for passing on these rumors to destroy the Republican Party. He could just as well give his “news” reports under a beauty shop hair dryer for all the credibility this rumor-monger has.
Fox News is dead to me after the way they covered election night.

McCain and his advisers have always criticized conservatives and embraced liberals.

The character assassination of Sarah Palin by the MSM, Hollywood idiots, etc. is one of the lasting negative events of this campaign.

Such bull-blank nonsense about her baby, and what does her daughter’s pregnancy say about abstinence education, and her husband’s DUI years ago, and what about Troopergate, and her alleged ignorance of allegedly important subjects such as the Bush doctrine, and allegedly funny comediennes saying how she would invite gang rape by black men if she went to Manhattan.......all of this horse-blank, dutifully documented by the MSM thinking that they are doing their job to report the important news of the day about candidates for high office.

Unbelievable. The credibility of the MSM is one of the losers in this campaign season.

All of this trashing of Sarah Palin is really about jobs for McCain campaign staffers. They ran a pathetic campaign and what they are looking to do is trash her so they can go get another job.

No one would hire them based on this performance so they have to find something to blame the problems on.

Carl Cameron is like a tabloid reporter because he does not name names. It is gutless reporting and gossip unless someone is willing to attach their name to the story.

I don’t know why the McCain campaign would even want this info out there. If she didn’t know that Africa is a continent and not a country, then it makes them all, including McCain, look extremely bad for choosing her in the first place. Terribly poor judgement call and a serious lack of vetting.

I know Sarah is loved here, but some of her interviews have given us little reason to doubt the allegations.

Carl Cameron. You are on my sh*t list. Say hi to David Shyster over at MSDNC when you get there.

The best silver lining from this election: the RINOs and GOP careerists are now clearly exposed. Time to rid this flotsam from the GOP to clear the way for the next generation of Conservative politicians, pundits and strategists.

Fox is playing Carl Cameron's hit piece on Sarah again this morning. I'm getting real sick that station.

I emailed Gov. Palin and thanked her for re-energizing the conservative movement. I also asked her to consider running for Sen. Stevens seat when he (is more than likely) forced out in Jan. I let her know that I want her to be MY candidate in 2012.

I urge ALL of you to do the same! You can go here to email her: http://gov.state.ak.us/govmail.php

I firmly believe that Sarah can rise above this latest attack. Of course the media will be hanging onto these tidbits for next time but it won’t work. If she can display real growth in her articulation (and I know she can after seeing one of her last post election interviews on youtube from yesterday) she will kill.

She needs to work hard over the next four years to prep and she will. Bush will be long gone and the Messiah will have shown to be human to enough voters in the middle. We will need someone like her because the hatred and venom that will come out against her in 2012 will backfire. Plus she will have a whole year campaigning, not 2 months. My only hope is that she has amazing advisors who get it.

Thanks for the link :) My subscription to XM must have just run out because I can’t get it to turn on. I am glad Laura is defending Sarah. We cannot let these RINO backstabbers destroy Sarah. I haven’t been this angry the whole election cycle. She gave everything she had and was so loyal to McCain.
