Open Letter to Barack Obama requesting that he provide his original birth certificate

"Update: Open Letter to Mr. Obama

Following Mr. Obama’s election many people have emailed WTP to inquire about the status of the publication of the open letter in USA TODAY.

STATUS: ON THE QUESTION OF WHETHER TO PUBLISH

Not wanting to publish the open letter if, in fact, the public record contained proof of Mr. Obama’s eligibility, we decided to take a close look at what had been sent to us last week by those opposed to the publication of the open letter and what others have been reporting since Mr. Berg filed his lawsuit on August 21, 2008.

We have come to the conclusion that the facts presented by Mr. Berg in Berg v. Obama, that are material to the case ARE NOT IN GENUINE DISPUTE and that at his peril, Mr. Obama has a duty to refute them. As a United States Court of Appeals has held, “Silence can only be equated with fraud where there is a legal or moral duty to speak or where an inquiry left unanswered would be intentionally misleading.” See United States v. Prudden, 424 F.2d 1021 (5th Cir. 1970), cert. denied, 400 U.S. 831(1970)."

I am brand-new to posting on Free Republic, so please bear with me. The website above is trying to raise money to run a full-page open letter in USA Today to Barack Obama asking him to divulge his original birth certificate to prove he is American-born and can therefore hold the office of the President of the United States.

Well, that's stupid.

USA Today is in Barack’s back pocket. They can refuse any ad they so desire.

Let him publish that in the WSJ or in IBD.

Link to another thread covering the Birth Certificate, including a copy of the ‘SHORT FORM’ birth certificate Obama produced. Again, the American Public and Electorate needs to see the LONG FORM.

It is amazing how fast people come out of the woodwork to shoot this down....almost like this topic is being monitored for this subject. They never take time to put forward an argument to refute Berg’s case, they just say ‘its over’ or ‘get on with life’ etc......

It sure is funny how that happens every time....

Actually, Doug you have a valid point. The question is, with the court’s ruling, who has standing to demand proof. It’s like noone has.

Welcome to Free Republic. I hope that you’ve been lurking long enough to know that any thread is going to get some negative or contrary comments, so don’t let the first curve balls throw you.

Hang in there. You’re doing alright.

The COLB issue is NOT a “non-starter”, as some claim. The American people have been asking Mr. Obama to provide proof of his “natural born citizen” eligibility to assume office for almost a year now, and he’s done nothing but evade the issue behind a phalanx of high powered attorneys.

He would not be doing that if he had nothing to hide, and any fool knows that.

This is probably the one thing that will end the Obama nightmare, and avert what is sure to be a national tragedy for our country if he assumes the presidency.

I hope that this full page ad gets posted, and soon. Many Americans know nothing about the controversy because it’s been kept out of the mainstream press by....well, the mainstream press.

Apparently, this group has nearly raised the money to place the ad, but as another poster said, USA Today might not accept it. On the other hand, with ad revenues down across the dead tree media, they probably will.

Thanks for posting this. I’ve bookmarked that website for reading later.

Ain't it though...almost like some folks would rather that we paid no attention to that man behind the curtain.

If we give in to lawlessness, then we are finished as a free Republic.

The supreme court needs to rule on this.

Trust me -—you will NEVER see it. We live in a Banana Republic. There really isn't any judicial system for any conservative. The elites( Illuminati/CFR, etc) own America. Pravda could not have conceived how easy it was for the sheeple to believe the crapola from the so-called open press. Smell the coffee - the leftist have taken the country. Deal with it & survive for as long as you can.

There is discussion about who has standing. The electoral college? John McCain or other opponent? The states? etc. I don’t understand why a US citizen doesn’t have standing. Someone has to have standing or the states need to remove the requirement from the Constitution. There are quite a few audio interviews with Berg and other opinions on the net.

The proposed USA Today ad is very informative. If it’s determined that obama is not a citizen after he takes office, then it will void literally every action he’s taken.

Since he’s been elected, the embarrassement excuse is no longer viable. It’s either citizenship or not.

Ok, where do we do to lay down and die?

Sheeesh, man. Go dig a grave and jump in if you want. The rest of us won't give up without a fight.

I don't care if NO court compels Obama to produce his COLB. The People will understand that he's illegitimate and will rebel against that usurpation. Bet on it.

Or crawl in a hole.
