Bernardine Dohrn in her own words
1974 | Albert Seedman and Peter Hellman

Posted on 12/22/2008 11:38:55 AM PST by sig226

Here is another excerpt from Al Seedman's book Chief! Chief! is a semi-autobiographical tale of Seedman's work as a New York City Police Department Detective. He was Chief of Detectives when the Weathermen's bombs exploded in the townhouse on 11th Street in Manhattan on March 6, 1970.

Prior to that explosion, the NYPD spent months chasing Sam Melville and Jane Alpert for a series of bombings in 1969. They detonated at least eight bombs in New York City, possibly more in the midwest. The New York Police formed an Arson/Explosvies Squad to deal with Melville, so the squad was in place when the Weathermen announced themselves to the world. The Panther 21 were accused of conspiracy to commit numerous bombings in New York and Judge Murtaugh presided over the trial.

Stupid high school students were far from the only people to protest the arrests of a gang of bank robbers, bombers, and murderers. The Weathermen and other useful idiots were delighted to pretend that they were other than spoiled brats by acting out their Lone Ranger and Untouchables bad guy fantasies.

These excerpts are from the bood Chief, published in 1974 by Avon Paperbacks, ISBN 0-380-00358-9. The first excerpt is a letter from Bernardine Dohrn written in May, 1970, which was nearly three months after the townhouse explosion.

Chief! Page 284:
Late in May 1970 Bernardine Dohrn, one of the missing thirteen, sent the New York Times Chicago Bureau a typewritten “Declaration of War” against American society. It said that black revolutionaries would no longer have to fight alone because now Weathermen would be leading “white kids into armed revolution.” It said that the Weathermen were now adapting the “classic guerilla strategy of the Vietcong and the urban guerilla strategy of the Tupamaros” to their own country. It said that, as Che had taught them, “revolutionaries move like fish in the sea,” and that the contempt of young people for their society had created such a sea. It promised that the Weathermen would “never live peaceably” under this system. The next paragraph said:

This was totally true of those who died in the New York townhouse explosion. The third person who was killed there was Terry Robbins, who led the first rebellion at Kent State less than two years ago.

Al Seedman speaks for himself on page 285.

“But for me, the most important moment of the case came on March tenth, when I stepped close to that odd gray globe in the teeth of the bucket and saw it was studded with one-and-a-half-inch roofing nails. Those nails more than justified the massive expense of this investigation. They represented a campaign, not only to destroy property as Same Melville had done the previous fall, but to brutally destroy human bodies along with it. That second aim was confirmed by another letter from Bernadine Dohrn in December 1970. She explained that ‘two weeks before the townhouse explosion, four members of this group had firebombed Judge Murtaugh’s house in New York as an action of support for the Panther 21, whose trial was just beginning.’ The group had thought this a ‘very good action,’ but not radical enough. Two weeks later, Dohrn goes on, the group had ‘moved from firebombing to antipersonnel bombs.’ They planned what she calls a ‘large scale, almost random bombing offensive.’

The following from Wikipedia but is well documented and sourced. Ayers told informant Dohrn was behind a bombing which killed a police officer.

Sgt. Brian V. McDonnell

"In a bombing that took place on February 16, 1970, and that was credited to the Weathermen at the time,[19][20] a pipe bomb filled with heavy metal staples and lead bullet projectiles was set off on the ledge of a window at the Park Station of the San Francisco Police Department. In the blast, Brian V. McDonnell, a police sergeant, was fatally wounded while Robert Fogarty, another police officer, received severe wounds to his face and legs and was partially blinded.[21]

Weatherman leader Bernardine Dohrn has been suspected of involvement in the February 16, 1970, bombing of the Park Police Station in San Francisco. At the time, Dohrn was said to be living with a Weatherman cell in a houseboat in Sausalito, California, unnamed law enforcement sources later told KRON-TV.[22]

An investigation into the case was reopened in 1999,[23] and a San Francisco grand jury looked into the incident, but no indictments followed,[22] and no one was ever arrested for the bombing.[23]

An FBI informant, Larry Grathwohl, who successfully penetrated the organization from the late summer of 1969 until April 1970, later testified to a U.S. Senate subcommittee that Bill Ayers, then a high-ranking member of the organization and a member of its Central Committee (but not then Dohrn's husband), had said Dohrn constructed and planted the bomb. Grathwohl testified that Ayers had told him specifically where the bomb was placed (on a window ledge) and what kind of shrapnel was put in it. Grathwohl said Ayers was emphatic, leading Grathwohl to believe Ayers either was present at some point during the operation or had heard about it from someone who was there.[24]

In a book about his experiences published in 1976, Grathwohl wrote that Ayers, who had recently attended a meeting of the group's Central Committee, said Dohrn had planned the operation, made the bomb and placed it herself.[25] In 2008, author David Freddoso commented that "Ayers and Dohrn escaped prosecution only because of government misconduct in collecting evidence against them", Freddoso wrote.[24][26]

Ayers, who had recently attended a meeting of the group's Central Committee, said Dohrn had planned the operation, made the bomb and placed it herself.

Certainly convenient for them that spouses cannot be compelled to testify against one another.

The C.I.A. should have made her disappear. A car bomb would have been way appropriate.

This is the time frame when O was attending Columbia, living off campus a few blocks from Ayers and Dornan. His interest in revolutionary and marxist activity most certainly led him into a relationship with the Weathermen. It remains to find hard evidence.

Soft evidence abounds. I have more excerpts of the book that discuss the plans to explode the antipersonnel bombs at Columbia, as well as the reasons for it. The SDS had its brightest moment in the sun at Columbia, so it isn't so difficult to trace that line. Besides, there are plenty of others who were involved in the townhouse explosion, some of whom attended Columbia.

They actually had a very similar agenda: to incite a race-based revolution.

Allies in War
By David Horowitz
FrontPageMagazine.com | Monday, September 17, 2001:

ON THE MORNING OF THE ATTACKS on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, along with a million other readers of the New York Times including many who would never be able to read the paper again, I opened its pages to be confronted by a color photo showing a middle-aged couple holding hands and affecting a defiant look at the camera. The article was headlined in an irony that could not have been more poignant, "No Regrets For A Love Of Explosives."

The couple pictured were Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, former leaders of the 1960s’ Weather Underground, America’s first terrorist cult. One of their bombing targets, as it happened, was the Pentagon.

"I don’t regret setting bombs," Ayers was quoted in the opening line of the Times profile; "I feel we didn’t do enough."

In 1969, Ayers and his wife convened a "War Council" in Flint Michigan, whose purpose was to launch a military front inside the United States with the purpose of helping Third World revolutionaries conquer and destroy it.

Taking charge of the podium, dressed in high-heeled boots and a leather mini-skirt – her signature uniform – Dorhn incited the assembled radicals to join the war against "Amerikkka" and create chaos and destruction in the "belly of the beast."

Her voice rising to a fevered pitch, Dohrn raised three fingers in a "fork salute" to mass murderer Charles Manson whom she proposed as a symbol to her troops. Referring to the helpless victims of the Manson Family as the "Tate Eight" (the most famous was actress Sharon Tate) Dohrn shouted:

"Dig It. First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them, they even shoved a fork into a victim’s stomach! Wild!"

(big snip)

Today William Ayers is not merely an author favored by the New York Times, but a Distinguished Professor of Education at the University of Illinois, Chicago.

His Lady Macbeth [Bernardine Dohrn] is not merely a lawyer, but a member of the American Bar Association’s governing elite, as well as the director of Northwestern University’s Children and Family Justice Center.

Confession (Manson Family)

When they got in the house, Susan [Atkins] said that in the living room there was a man on the couch and a woman on the chair reading. Then some of Susan's group stayed in the living room, while Susan went into the bedroom where Sharon was sitting on the bed talking to Jay Sebring. They quickly put nooses over Sharon and Jay's heads so that if they moved they would choke.

Frykowski ran for the door. "He was full of blood," she said and claimed that she had stabbed him three or four times. "He was bleeding and he ran to the front part, and would you believe that he was there hollering 'Help, help, somebody please help me,' and nobody came? Then we finished him off."

"Sharon was the last to die," Susan said with a laugh as she described how Sharon was begging her, " Please don't kill me. Please don't kill me. I don't want to die. I want to live. I want to have my baby. I want to have my baby."

Susan said she just looked at Sharon straight in the eye and said, "Look, bitch, I don't care about you. I don't care if you're going to have a baby. You had better be ready. You're going to die and I don't feel anything about it...In a few minutes I killed her."

Susan said she saw that there was Sharon's blood on her hand and she tasted it. "Wow, what a trip! To taste death, and yet give life."

Dorhn is a racist.

She supported Charles Manson who planned to start an apocalyptic race was by murdering white people and frming blacks as the killers.

The end that justified these racist means was that Manson believed he and The family would emerge from the ashes of society and lead it.

REPEAT, Dorhn is a racist.

Dohrn and Ayers make the Manson Family look respectable.

They actually had a very similar agenda: to incite a race-based revolution.

From TruTV.com, Charles Manson and the Manson Family:

The core of this philosophy was a kind of Armageddon. Charlie preached that the black man was going to rise up and start killing the whites and turn the cities in to an inferno of racial revenge. The black man would win this war, but wouldn't be able to hang onto the power he seized because of innate inferiority.

In 1968, Charlie was forecasting racial war when all of a sudden the Beatles released their White Album, which had the song "Helter Skelter." The lyrics fit Charlie's theory to a tee: "Look out helter skelter helter skelter helter skelter/She's coming down fast/ Yes she is/Yes she is." Now, the racial Armageddon had a name. It was Helter Skelter.

Helter Skelter would begin, according to one of Charlie's devotees, "with the black man going into white people's homes and ripping off the white people, physically destroying them. A couple of spades from Watts would come up into the Bel Air and Beverly Hills district...and just really wipe some people out, just cutting bodies up and smearing blood and writing things on the wall in blood...all kinds of super-atrocious crimes that would really make the white man mad...until there was open revolution in the streets, until they finally won and took over. Then the black man would assume the white man's karma. He would then be the establishment..."

A racist AND a commie. They, like Obama's Rev Wright, were proponents of Marxist Black Liberation...

"Their founding document [the Weather Underground's] called for the establishment of a "white fighting force" to be allied with the "Black Liberation Movement" and other "anti-colonial" movements[1] to achieve "the destruction of US imperialism and the achievement of a classless world: world communism."..."-Berger, Dan (2006). From the New York Times, August 24, 2003

"they [the Weather Underground] employed revolutionary jargon, advocated armed struggle and black liberation and began bombing buildings, taking responsibility for at least 20 attacks. Estimates of their number ranged at times from several dozen to several hundred."

Fire in the Night
The Weathermen tried to kill my family
John M. Murtagh, April 30, 2008

"In February 1970, my father, a New York State Supreme Court justice, was presiding over the trial of the so-called 'Panther 21,' members of the Black Panther Party indicted in a plot to bomb New York landmarks and department stores. Early on the morning of February 21, as my family slept, three gasoline-filled firebombs exploded at our home on the northern tip of Manhattan, two at the front door and the third tucked neatly under the gas tank of the family car."

"The same night, bombs were thrown at a police car in Manhattan and two military recruiting stations in Brooklyn. Sunlight, the next morning, revealed three sentences of blood-red graffiti on our sidewalk:

FREE THE PANTHER 21; THE VIET CONG HAVE WON; KILL THE PIGS."

"Though no one was ever caught or tried for the attempt on my family’s life, there was never any doubt who was behind it. Only a few weeks after the attack, the New York contingent of the Weathermen blew themselves up making more bombs in a Greenwich Village townhouse. The same cell had bombed my house, writes Ron Jacobs in The Way the Wind Blew: A History of the Weather Underground. And in late November that year, a letter to the Associated Press signed by Bernardine Dohrn, Ayers’s wife, promised more bombings."

BOTH OBAMA AND OSAMA HAVE
FRIENDS WHO WANTED TO BOMB FORT DIX

From David Horowitz's FrontPageMag.com/DiscoverTheNetworks.org:
March 6, 1970: "three members of the Weather Underground accidentally killed themselves in a Manhattan townhouse while attempting to build a powerful bomb they had intended to plant at a social dance in Fort Dix, New Jersey -- an event that was to be attended by U.S. Army soldiers. Hundreds of lives could have been lost had the plot been successfully executed."
http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/groupProfile.asp?grpid=6808

"The bomb was intended to be planted at a non-commissioned officer's dance at Fort Dix, New Jersey.
The bomb was packed with nails to inflict maximum casualties upon detonation."

2007 Fort Dix attack plot

A group of six radical Islamist[1] men, allegedly plotting to stage an attack on the Fort Dix military base in New Jersey, United States, were arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on May 7, 2007. They were subsequently charged with planning an attack against U.S. soldiers. The alleged aim of the six men was said to be to "kill as many soldiers as possible".[2] Their trial began on October 20, 2008. [3]

Opening arguments were presented on October 20, 2008.
Assistant U.S. Attorney William Fitzpatrick said the defendants were inspired by jihad saying "Their motive was to defend Islam. Their inspiration was Al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden.
