It sounds like Ed feels something discovered through the Divorce papers leads to a birth cert for Barry. The problem is, at present Ed is not holding any card to prove Barry was born in Kenya, but he's dangling the hope of something else to be brought out which will supposedly show it. I'm getting that ‘hair on the back of the neck’ skepticism feeling ... of course the last line of defense excuse could be 'the Kenyans found it and swept it before we could get to it', kind of like 'the dog ate my homework'. This shellgame is not helping Ed's credulity.
