Yeah but he never says anything bad about them. The Steelers are always quick to cut “old” players (and they usually lose a step), that’s the team, doesn’t mean we don’t like him any more.

Maybe it was an efficiency thing. They only had to hire one guy this way. Regardless of who won, Rod, who was a pro-bowler for both teams, could present the trophy. ;-)

Regarding Rod Woodson, I do remember that someone said (I believe it was Dan Rooney himself) saying that letting Rod go was one of the biggest mistakes he made.
