Peggy Noonan found the inauguration speech
palatable. Someone tell Ms. Noonan that Valentines Day isn't until next month.

You can say that again! Oh, I see you already have. ;-)

i heard kneepad wearer Jeffrey Toobin, panned the speech. know none of this firsthand, just heard it from xshub. he was surprised at the panning.

I would have found a McCain Administration somewhat palatable; an Obama Administration engages my gag reflex from the outset.

Did you remember to factor in the leap year?

“Chenille” is one of those Yiddish words from the Laverne and Shirley theme song, isn’t it?

Me neither. I had a meeting with 16 disgruntled OB/Gyns last night.

Put
Kathleen Parker in there with Peggy in the gaggle of formerly conservative bimbo columnists who are enthusiastically swallowing the Obama koolaid with gusto.

Niebuhr had his failings, but he is credited with writing the serenity prayer. The attenuated version,”God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference” has been a guiding principle for thousands of recovering alcoholics in AA.
There is an even shorter version.

I think the Excel date calculator factors in leap years.
To: Bertram3
Then there is the version that says: God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those idiots I had to kill because they pissed me off.
To: VRWCmember
both of them gall the living crap out of me.

The hagiography of Obama ain’t palatable
(As a Kenyan, he shouldn’t be ballotable)
Now they think he’s a saint
Well is he is, or is he ain’t?
Libs think he, not the Pope, is infallatable
