I think being a relative of Alec Baldwin is cruel.
I agree with Baldwin. Horse drawn carriages in New York, Chicago or any major city are pretty much inhumane.
Well done edge-of-your-seat action film.
Agreed on Taken.
Well done edge-of-your-seat action film.

I agree but Rotten Tomatoes gives only 40%. But it’s the number one movie so the proletariat has spoken
Two liberal ass-clowns fighting it out about horses in NYC. You’re right. Horses don’t like being confined in a city, they don’t like the noise, and there’s nothing for them to munch on along the way.
Having to drag big fat Alec in a carriage would be cruel to a horse.
We need Janet Reno. Remember, in order to save the children from a “cult,” she burned them to death.
Several years ago there was a push to outlaw horse-drawn carriage rides in Washington DC on grounds that it was inhumane to make the horses pull such heavy carriages. Friends of mine who owned such a carriage-driving business unhitched the horses from the carriage and pulled the carriage to Capitol Hill themselves, to show how easy it was for a well-cared-for 1200-pound horse to do.
New York is an unfit place for animals, let alone for people.
“As a native new yorker, i have always disliked the carriage rides. i have seen the trainers be quite cruel to those horses and many of the horses look dirty and haggard. Amazing how liam can push for this to continue. easy for him to say, hes not the horse. those horses are out there in all kinds of weather and its just not humane.”
I guess she is a horse then...
Liberalism is truly a mental disorder.
I’m sure there must be some money in the porkulus bill to give each of these horses the acre Alec wants them to have. Maybe enough to build themselves some greenhouse gas emitting housed for themeselves too.

man, I cannot imagine living on the UWS these days
UWS?
Upper West Side I think (of Manhattan)
I’m a longtime horseperson and I’ve been to NYC and seen the horses around Central park. Those horses are FINE!!!
They have better lives than a lot of people I know. Happier too. Quit drinking the Peta Kool-aid.
I think I agree a bit more with Neeson, but in the sense that horse-drawn carriages themselves are not cruel. Horses don’t belong on NYC streets which I wouldn’t even drive a car on, but one of the comments on the article suggested moving the carriage rides inside the park. Personally, I think that’s a good solution - inside Central Park wouldn’t have all the dangerous traffic, it’s still got plenty of roads and nice sights and famous locations for tourists to enjoy themselves, and it’s in general a pretty horse-friendly location.
