Ed, it’s a Delaware plate from 1940, expires 3-31-41. In 1940, the DE plate was yellow with dark blue numbers.
thanks ... it looked like Del to me, but my magnification suffers ... I wonder how easy/hard that info would be to find in DE ... its population of registered vehicles back then was probably not terribly dense.
