Thats probably pretty big, but arent you forgetting Amtrack? But the model has a working population. ;-)

Yeah, but now the wife has got me on this kick about finding a good, solid Class A or B motor home. Talk about out of the frying pan and into the fire....LOL
To: elcid1970
Yeah, I know. But, there must be a way to make it work...

Tell her a 34’ cabin cruiser IS a motor home.
Only it costs more to park it.
(The 12-step program does not appear to have worked...)

That'd be a helluva thing to try to dock up in the Blue Ridge in the fall....LOL

BUT BUT BUT The electricity they use is CAUSING GLOBAL WARMING! Actually, Germany gets a VERY large portion its power from solar panels which are on farms that are subsidized by the government. The farmers donate a portion (usually a third to half) of their land for this purpose and the government loans them the money to purchase the solar panels...which they use to generate and sell back...thereby allowing them to pay off the loans. After that...it's all gravy for the farmers.

Ooh, blue ridge. Surrounded by navigable rivers...like the Shanandoah.
You need to start with a good, healthy requirements definition. For instance, I suggest “trailerable” - if you can tow it, it is both a RV AND a boat.
I think the biggest one I have seen that was “trailerable” was about a 27’ cabin cruiser. Single engine, but with directed thrust.

Sums up my feelings about boats.

Oh, yeah, I'm from that neck of the woods. My buddy and I used to hit one of the camps along the North Fork - they'd take us several miles upriver, dump us off with a canoe and our gear, and we'd float fish all the way back to camp. Summer smallmouth fishing at it's finest. The water would be so gin-clear, you could spot anything that had spilled out of another boat. My buddy once brought up a .22 Luger that had been down so long, the breech was rusted permanently open. He keeps it as a conversation piece.
To: Viking2002
Dang it, that is where I lost that gun when the canoe flipped over...

We've always wondered who you ventilated before it went to the bottom.
To: Viking2002
Clearly, a fish. You know, up in the blue ridge, we don’t use hooks...

Thanks for the pic and the short story. Brings back memories (of Knoxville). I have lots of relatives living there.

Yeah - back home, we'd just slam our
face in the water and come up with a fish. Goony goo goo.
