I saw a Tightrope walker at a state fair a few years ago. Looking at him some 100+ feet above me on a windy day, I wondered what it is like to know exactly how you are going to die, just not when.

About 40 years ago I saw a German guy who caught .22 bullets in his stainless steel teeth. It was way cool. He bought the farm by falling 20 or 30 floors from his hotel room, if I remember correctly.
