You can tell me that the Courts have said that the Bill of Rights doesn't apply within 100 miles of the border.

Please do not put words in my mouth, my FRiend. I said no such thing. I said, quote, "The courts have stated NUMEROUS times that simple proximity to the border grants border officials (such as Customs & Border Protection Officers and Border Patrol Agents) probable cause to search."

I never stated that the Bill of Rights doesn't apply within 100 miles of the border. If we can't represent each other's positions honestly, there is no possibility of rational discussion.

I guess I don't understand. You used the word “proximity.” Tell me what you mean. Tell me what your “numerous” decisions said. You say that this “proximity” whatever it is grants official “probable cause” which strikes me as abrogation of the fourth amendment which is part of the Bill of Rights. What am I missing?
