Instead of driving to promote all vehicles produced with increased efficiency, it is selectively forcing all Americans to drive ultra light clown-car sized shoe boxes that self destruct if they hit a small animal on the highway.

I have an Escape Hybrid that's just gone over 80k. It's never been in the shop for any reason other than scheduled maintenance and a set of tires. Heck, it's never even had to have brakes done. My other vehicle is an F150. I don't expect the compact SUV to haul logs to the dump or pull my boat. That's what the truck is for, and as far as I can tell Ford is doing nothing to discourage me from getting a new pickup truck.
Hybrids aren't a threat to your manhood. They're cars. You can have one or not - it's your choice.
