I see some potentially bad omens on the horizon for FR. One is the demand to get rid of Mitt fans (or Mccain fans or Huck fans). I’m most certainly NONE OF THE ABOVE, but it is counterproductive to purge them. Next is the coronation chorus, demanding that Sarah be worshipped here. I’ll have none of that, even though she is certainly better than your average GOPer.
It’s going to be more brutal here than last time, I reckon, or the purges will pre-empt it. If there is another FredRepublic or equivalent official movement, I will self purge.
If they are constantly shilling for someone like Rudy that is bad and they need to be purged. But,some of the Rudy purge business went too far in my opinion.
I know your sign up date is june 03. But were you by chance around back in 98-00 time frame when it was basically the old whitewater forum? There were some hell’va knock downs/drag outs during that campaign season. There where among others the Buchanan Brigade, Keyesters, Bushies, etc and it got interesting.
Like you I think it will get pretty nasty come the 2012 campaigns.
