I liked A+Bert.

I remember when another FReeper used to respond to “Bert” with the question...”Now, Bert, have you forgotten to take your meds?”
Ohhh...I believe more than one responded to Bert that way.
In fact, more than one accused him of, to put it politely, tippling.
I think they did it to get a rise out of him, and were usually successful.
There were some people who were very upset with him at times, and rightly so.
However, in every encounter I had with him, he was kind, gentlemanly, and respectful towards me.
That’s the Bert I choose to remember.
