I am a lucky man, in as much that, I have an original copy of “Brave Men”, complete with period newspaper clippings, describing some of the battles in the book.
It is a humbling experience, to me, to read of these men who gave everything for us.
Ernie Pyle brought the stories of all the men, who didn’t have a voice, otherwise, to the people who needed to hear them.
I salute all of Our American Heroes, who gave the ultimate sacrifice, so we can be here ,today.
