Last night, the Texas players were still around watching LSU hoop & holler...so maybe some alum told augie to suck it up and show some respect.
Texas was strong, but they ran into a buzz saw in LSU.

IIRC, the “runner-up” team has to stick around so they can be presented with the 2nd-place trophy.
It’s got to be humbling to watch the other team celebrate, though.
