If there was something else mixed with it that Narcan wouldn’t reverse, like Versed or Barbs, it could have been trouble. I’ve brought plenty of people back with Narcan. It works in about 30 seconds.
It can trigger withdrawal in opiate addicts. That could have been an issue. Overdose-Narcan-Withdrawal-Seizures-Arrest.
I seem to recall them starting cpr IN the ambulance in route to the hospital.....so perhaps. fooling around with drugs is stupid.
