It's called 'thinning the heard'.
“heartbroken followers of the star have committed suicide because of his death.”
OK, there really ARE fool nutcases like that out there.
Now I know for sure to stay away from those posters in the racing sites who tell us how they “cry for weeks” every time a top horse (whom they don’t even really “know”) dies. I always thought maybe they’re exaggerating; but now I’m sure they’re not.
What damn pathetic fools all these people are. They really need to see psychiatrists.
They likely voted for Barry. If they keep this up, conservatives will take back the White House in 2012.
Culling the gene pool.
These Brits are possibly as stupid as their countrymen who sterilized themselves to help global warming....
Improving the human species.
It is irrational, but not confined to celebrities.
If I remember correctly, a political science professor at Clemson committed suicide soon after Robert F Kennedy’s assassination. I guess his emotional investment was too great.
Sometimes I feel like I'm in an alternate reality as well. ...like when I read about fanatics going into a deep depression or even committing suicide because of the the death of a pedophile nutcase who hasn't recorded a decent song since he was a little kid with the Jackson 5 almost 40 years ago.
Oh well...Adios...
Darwin awards finalist. Here is some good advice to the MJ fans. Don’t pee on the electric fence.
Methinks the sounds of expiring are coming from the guys web site, and not his MJ fans. He’s probably hoping for one last gasp of glory as his subject matter ceases to update.
Man was made to serve his Creator, no one else can take His place. Without Him man cannot find fulfillment. (Do I hear snickering?) Ignoring the One God produces a natural void which must be filled by a substitute god — there cannot be another way.
The latter is of no value. Should it die, the one who possesses the false god will do likewise.
This is known as a “two-fer”.
Keep up the good work!
I don’t doubt that there have been a few suicides. There were a lot of his fans who had a totally unhealthy obsession with him. I remember seeing some documentary about him a few years back, showing him touring in Europe, and lots of footage of completely insane *adult* fans just collapsing into uncontrollable sobs and hyperventilation just from catching a few seconds’ glimpse of him dashing from a car into a building and such. There are lots of crazy people in the world. Just think of the rash of murder-suicides we’ve seen in the past year or so, with a father who’s gotten in financial trouble or lost a job figuring it makes sense to kill his wife and children and then himself.
Did anyone off themselves when Chris Farley kicked the bucket? Or Ed McMahon? Or heck, even Elvis? I bet there is some high-pitched sound wave in MJ’s music which destroys part of the brain. Remember Mars Attacks????
parsy, who is putting cotton in his years.
Oh, they just watch tapes of Billy until their ears bleed.
Unfortunately, this is nothing new. I remember reading somewhere that women committed suicide when Rudolph Valentino died.
