I actually chose your post to respond to because I pretty much agreed with everything you said. My reaction was to the fact that there were so many posts celebrating this news, and no one had bothered to research it. In a sense I was agreeing with you, and pointing out that everyone was celebrating without bothering to research it.
I wasn't trying to imply that you were lazy. Sorry that you took it that way. A lot gets lost in the translation when you put something in writing as opposed to saying it.
