I knew someone would throw that at me. If they want a wedding like that, perform it at club - have at it - it is OK with me.

But I think at a church, there is a certain amount of decorum and respect that should be shown. The pastoress that allowed this at her church is shameful.

I don't believe this is a dour and uptight view of life. This is about respecting the sanctity of marriage and the church. Yes, weddings are joyful, happy occasions and should be celebrated. However, a church wedding is about joining two people in Christ not dancing up and down the aisles doing acrobatics. The reception is a far better place for this type of activity.

I wish this young couple all the love and happiness in their future. Marriage is wonderful but it is lots of hard work at times.
