We have some FReepers desperate to get back into the workforce after being laid off, with families to support. Great guys and gals who believe the way you believe. If they are local to you, wouldn't you prefer to give one of them the chance over just anyone off the street?

I hope that helps a bit.

Those are all great suggestions, Cindy. Thank you so much.

Sometimes, a person is too immersed and interiorized in their own operation to see it from an exterior viewpoint. Such is the case with me.

I was just thinking that it's just nuts that I don't have a website up for my gutter business (we do for another business we have).

I'll work on implementing your very good suggestions right away. They're all good promotion ideas.

Thank you!
WF

Another idea:

Get a magnetic sign that advertises your business.
You can attach it to your vehicle(s) as desired.
Free advertising as you drive.

(Note: Take sign off vehicle and lock it up when arriving at your destination. Thieves like magnetic signs for some reason.)

Yep, I've got that on the truck now. I've got to get down to the sign guy and get the phone number on it changed, though.

Funny thing is, I've had signs on my truck for about eight years, and we've only gotten maybe three jobs because of them in all that time. I keep them on mostly for PR's sake. Looks good to the neighbors when I'm working on a house.

Thanks for thinking of me.
