Strangely, to many people the dolphin hunt would be no problem; the factory processing of beef or pork in the US would cause horror.

In the harvesting of food, everyone thinks everybody else’s methods are terrible...

All cultures are not just as good as all other cultures. Cultures are not equal. Leftists love to use the cultural equality argument to make the points that we shouldn’t try to intervene. They told us Saddam Hussein was the democratically elected leader of his country, and poison gas and torture are a way of life over there, and we have no right to intervene because they didn’t mean us any harm.

In the West, women with loose morals gain a reputation, whereas in some places, they get buried up to the waist and people throw rocks at them for hours until they finally die. In America, the cattle are herded into the slaughterhouse, where the get a good solid conk on the head, and then they get their throat slit, and hung up by their back hooves until the blood runs out. I think that the practice of repeatedly stabbing dolphins and making them swim around in a pool filled with blood is probably pretty terrible for them. I am of the opinion that all animals are not equal either, just as humans are better than cows, yes I use the word “better,” (gasp) dolphins are better than cows and pigs and sheep. Of course, the culturally equal dolphin killers would disagree, but they would be wrong.
