Thank you, everyone! Thank you so much for the prayers, messages and calls. I am overwhelmed.

Leaving the hospital went a little more slowly than we thought. It was scheduled for 1:30 but we didn’t get out of there until after 3, and then it was a long ride home. We probably would have left later, but my friend pried me out with a crowbar. LOL

I am doing better, but I can’t do much in the way of posting as I am still dealing with numbness on my right side.

The story is that the swelling from the hemorrhage needs to subside before the doctors can do anything about the tumor, so it will be a few weeks before I go to see the surgeon in charge of the bleeding. If he gives me the green light, he will coordinate with the surgeon in charge of the tumor.

My goal is to be careful and pursue some of the physical and occupational therapy that might help me before the surgery.

The tumor is an acoustic neuroma and the one surgeon has performed thousands of them. They can test nerve by nerve to limit risks to nerves, but I will need to become accustomed to having only one working ear, which is not such a bad outcome in the scheme of things.

Meanwhile, I will be doing my version of “taking it easy” while obeying doctor’s orders. I am now officially permitted to drink all the coffee that I want. But it had nothing to do with my daily pleading for caffeine buds steeped in hot water. LOL

Thank you everyone. I hope that I will be able to post more soon.

((((Hugs to all of you!))))

Is reading something you would like to be doing? Are there any books you would like to have?

We will send you anything you want.

You need to let us know if there is anything you want and I am afraid that you won’t.

Love you, dear.

What a wonderful surprise. It is midnight and I am checking saveliberty’s thread and...there she is. She made it home and is in fine spirits. Welcome back my FRiend and thank goodness you are able to fill in the medical details.

I just got home from a LONG town hall meeting that didn't breakup until after 11pm. We arrived at 5:30pm to get seats at the 7pm meeting. Anyway, my hope that a sleeping American electorate has finally arisen is encouraged. Overflowing crowd and 90+% against the Dems and the plan.

So, I'll be late checking in tomorrow. Enjoy your morning coffee, save. And keep us posted.

OK. It's late and I'm tired. [And silly it seems.]

So, good nite to all, especially to you saveliberty.

And welcome home!
