I don’t! Nor does anyone I talk to. Neilson has them in their pocket if they think they still have an audience.

We don’t have cable either, because we didn’t want to continue to pay for packages that force us to support garbage channels.

You joined today to suggest that conservatives boycott a network that that don’t watch in the first place?

Both Sharpe and Hornblower would say: “Not worth the powder.”

I started boycotting CNN when Judy and Bernie cried when the house passed the impeachment charges to the senate.

Our efforts are better spend elsewhere.

I'm already boycotting MSNBC in that I don't watch that Network except for occasionally to see what if any changes might be in store. Usually I'll watch for just a few minutes and I can see that it's business as usual (liberal bias). I'll then change the channel.

I never watch NBC since I rarely watch any network TV. The sponsors on those networks are for the most part the same sponsors that are on channels that I watch so how could I boycott them? The difference is that those sponsors get a much better price when they advertise on MSNBC because they have so few viewers. In this way the sponsors can cover a lot of bases.

The most efficient way to drive MSNBC out of business is to have it continue to do exactly what it's doing with its current gaggle of drooling staff morons.

I use to think as you do. But I'm starting to wonder. MSNBC ratings are pitiful which means the sponsors are getting cut rate prices. They cannot be making much money. My question is this: Have they found a way to make money with very small viewership? Or to they have sugardaddys like Microsoft and General Electric? How can they pay a buffoon like Olbermann 9 million a year. Nobody would hire this guy for anything. If (or when) he leaves MSNBC he will be lucky to find a job at 1/10 that salary and that will be too much. So I'm puzzled at MSNBC. There's something that doesn't meet the eye here.

Otherwise, I say, let GE pour its money down the MSNBC rathole and any advertisers dumb enough to waste their dough do likewise.

The Sponsors may not be pouring their money down a rat hole. Because MSNBC has so few viewers (and those are pathetic), the sponsors are getting cut rate prices. So MSNBC cannot be making money or very little money.

My question is this. How can the shareholders of GE put up with Immelt much longer? Why hasn't he been booted? This is where the problem is. You know MSNBC wasn't always so terrible. When they started out they were a decent Network. But someone has made a decision to appeal to the hard left and that has led to the situation we now see. Someone needs to be held accountable for this. MSNBC has pathetic ratings. Why do they persist with this format? Who is this Griffin clown who is in charge. He must answer to Immelt. How can he defend his positions? What gives?

I agree with you that its not worth the effort, I just thought that you were curious about it, but sending an e-mail, oh well—not worth it.Anyway, it's pretty obvious what's happening with MSNBC.

I’m not sure a petition would work or even a direct boycott of their advertisers. I’m not advocating either way because I believe in free markets but there is an up to date list of MSNBC advertisers at http://www.liberaladvertisers.org.
