Well I'm looking forward to Stargate Universe and I do have a couple of questions.
1. Do you want a Stargate Universe live thread?
2. If so who can host the premier week thread? The reason is that I'm going to my old high school to watch football and then going to a bar later on(20th reunion god I feel frakin old)...

Is Defying Gravity any good? I started watching the pilot episode on Hulu and was bored. Seemed so soap operaish.
I’m in love with Pete in Warehouse 13. I love his gung ho temperment and appreciation of cookies.

It is good... Yes it is kinda soap operaish, but you have to remember, this show is set 50 years into our future and there is no advanced propulsion or any type of technology..

'Defying Gravity' has been showing steady improvement each week. I'm hoping the show can start to hit its stride once Antares gets into orbit around Venus and sends its lander down.
Friday's 'Eureka' wasn't bad. It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad. The random amnesia plot played out well and had a happy ending with the birth of Alison's daughter.
The series needs a few episodes where the writers get back to the show's roots and focus on its original sense of wonder, charm and secrets best left not messed with. I also miss the interplay between Nathan Stark and Sheriff Carter.
'Warehouse 13' worked out well with Pete and Myka handling a creepy, dangerous situation in a Florida prison basically on their own. The secondary sub-plot with Claudia and Artie and a magnetic trench coat was very funny. Especially Claudia's old school penance at the end of the episode.
Jack.

That is true... I have a feeling that it is going to be canceled.. Hopefully Im wrong..I read that the ratings were less than stellar. And premiering on the first of August raised a red flag.

Thanks for the update!
The effects I've seen in clips
made me want to watch.

Defying Gravity has been described as Grey’s Anatomy in space.
It is rather dull, slow moving. They have a big ‘secret’ of some mysterious something that has affected a couple of the crew from a previous mission.
That big ‘secret’ hasn’t been enough to ‘carry’ the show.
It has only a couple more episodes scheduled (8 out of about 13) and then it disappears from into that black hole of defunct programs.

Glad W13 is being renewed. I enjoy it quite a bit, more than Eureka which has gotten to feminized IMO (and I’m a woman).
Loved the “red shirt” bit in W13 a couple of episodes ago.

I really like Defying Gravity. I like the soap opera quality of it. Life is a soap opera. Mix that with a good sci-fi storyline and I think you have an intriguing TV show.
