>> Sick, just sick.
Thank you! I’ll take that as a compliment.
The really sad fact is, my brother had one of these beauties... and everything I said about the performance is true, I have first-hand knowledge! Including the fact that it had a THREE on the floor! :-)

I second your nomination. The 1963 Corvette split-window coupe is just the most perfectly designed car ever to be sold in the USA. There are lots of close 2nds like the Shelby Cobras. But there is only one Sting Ray.
Just beautiful.

>> I didnt realize how awesome it was at the time ... kids never do. Its only when you get older you realize your blessings.
Amen to that!
I wrecked my brother’s car (that my Dad bought him) before I had my drivers license. Even so, Dad bought me a car when I turned legal driving age.
(’course, these weren’t ‘65 Mustangs, they were tired old company cars with 100,000 plus miles on ‘em that Dad picked up for $200. But still...)
My wife and I frequently comment on how LUCKY we were to have been raised in good homes with loving parents. We took it for granted. Little did we know...

There are many good looking muscle cars. I like 67/68 mustang fastbacks; once owned a ‘68 coupe. But few can even hold a candle to your post. What an amazingly beautiful car. It looks fast, powerful and sexy all while standing still.

Yeah, pretty much everything about the Granada said “Buy me! Take me home!”, didn’t it? :-)

I once owned a Beautiful 78 Z-28.
Same color as that but it came with much smaller decals under the fender scoops and a different style hood scoop.
I loved that car and miss it.
PS
That’s almost the exact car that Spicoli trashed.
