Yeah I suspect it was a fairly serious concussion. He was having one of his best games too.

The backup seemed to be a pretty good passer but nowhere near the runner as Tebow.

Iowa played a solid game. Hats off to them :)

Penn State was favored by nine. That was really 60 minutes of excellent football.
If you subtract that first quarter interception by PSU, the score would really be 21-3.

dfw? and a gator fan? man you must be popular at work. I saw Tebow went down with a concussion today — don’t worry he’ll be back.— the Horns and Gators in the championship would be fun to watch. good luck.

It was as if G_d hated Penn State. Truly an unbelievable turn of events.

The big winner today is Boise State, at Number 8, they will move up even more. They might now have a legitimate shot at playing for the title if they run the table, and some more of the big boys tumble.

Boise State in the title game would be treated like Hawaii was when they played Georgia in the Sugar Bowl — like redheaded stepchildren. Boise State plays nobody from here on out.

But I’ve been wrong before.

Meanwhile, the Gators and Longhorns continue on their collision course.

The Gators are going to have to go through the Crimson Tide first. There will be another meeting in Atlanta between those two this year.

Big Ten is up for grabs this year. Go Badgers! On Wisconsin!

I assume that my dad's Golden Gophers are doing their usual pitiful football?

That was really 60 minutes of excellent football.

I guess if you're a Hawkeye fan. If you follow PSU that was probably the worst 3 quarters of play ever turned in by a Penn State team. The fourth quarter was pathetic. Penn State would've lost to Akron if they'd played as poorly as they played tonight.

Disgusting and amateurish. A team with great talent and no heart whatsoever.

Yeah, they played down the seriousness of his injury, but one report said that he was vomiting on the sideline before they carried him off to the hospital. That could indicate something a lot more serious than a simple concussion. I have no love for his team, but I pray he wasn’t seriously injured.

There week schedule will keep them from any national championship consideration, regardless of who else gets beat. But, a BCS bowl game is possible.

Lots of people were picking Iowa to cover at the very least.

Can't agree with you, though. Penn State was, and is, overrated.

Maybe the Penn State football team miscontrued the the meaning of “white out”.

Penn State has lousy overall team speed. They would be lucky to win three games in either the SEC or PAC-10.

Wrong. Penn State is being shortchanged by loyalty to a quarterback who has had numerous opportunities to redeem himself as a big league quarterback and never has. For the last three seasons PSU has had the best defense in the Big 10 and the best wide receiver corp with nobody else even a distant second.

Please don't tell me anybody with a serious reputation was picking a team that beat Northern Iowa High School by 1 point in their opener to win. Enjoy the night. Iowa isn't going anywhere.

Yeah the college gameday guys were bemoaning the current situation in the anointed schools W-L records. They are already rationalizing a 1-2 loss team playing for the BCS title. How pathetic!
