Lewis qualified for the 1980 Olympic team, but, we boycotted those,
so it might have been the 1984 Olympics or the 1988 Olympics
when Michelle was 20 and 24 respectively.
Regardless of the year, it must have been quite a strain for her MS afflicted father to support
his rather large adult daughter on his lap.

Yes, it's indeed creepy about Carl Lewis... He only participated from 1984. Olga competed in 1972 and 1976, while Nadia did in 1976. Did you notice that she only mentioned athletes from Communist countries and a Black American athlete? Apparently she didn't rejoice for Mark Spitz .
