Nope, didn’t hear it. Don’t watch him. Frankly, I don’t really care about his sexual exploits. It appears to have involved only adult women, and women who were very eager to sleep with him. I doubt that the one who’s now his wife minds a bit if he’s continuing the same activities with other women now (which he probably is).

I believe Letterman was raised with, and still remembers, solid Midwestern values...he just violates them so dramatically and so often that he has dealt with this guilt by denigrating people who uphold those values. I think Letterman hates Sarah Palin — and he does seem to hate her — because she had a baby he would have paid to abort. Letterman looks at Plain and knows she is true to values he has jettisoned.

Fired for what? Get out of what? You are aware that Roman Polanski hasn’t lacked for work right?
Everyone already knows what David Letterman is. Most of us don’t watch him. Enough do to keep him employed.
The audience laughed all the way through is mea culpa and that is all that matters.
