Always two Border Collies on my aunt's farm when I was growing up, but they were working dogs and were not treated as pets.

Our dear departed BC mix seemed to read our minds.

Now we have a blue heeler who seems in the same league.

Her only fault is that she regards cats as vermin to be eliminated.
