I’m not saying he couldn’t kill all those people, he certainly could. With NO ONE SHOOTING BACK. Why and how was he able to shoot that many people before being taken down himself. That is my point. This wasn’t a college campus where no one carried guns, this is a MILITARY BASE!

Again, a Military installation where no one carries weapons except law enforcement - with the exception of on the weapons ranges, which were no where near the location of the shooting today.

Do you really THINK that people walk around armed? If so you are very wrong. My dad spent 3 years in the Army in the early 70’s and when I asked him he said he had a loaded weapon on base perhaps 6 times for an hour at a time.

It’s hard to believe, but it’s a fact - military bases lock firearms away. I had a private firearm the whole time I was in and it was locked up in one armory or another the entire time. This guy knew he was walking into a gun-free, target-rich zone and that’s why he chose it. If I posted what I really think about the thing I’d be banned.

It doesn’t work that way. I’m not sure how you got the idea that every soldier carries around a loaded weapon.
