It's a lot cooler now but we still have some flowers hanging on. I spent about an hour at the county arboretum, it's a great place to just sit.
I saw the first flock of pelicans coming in today, a few singles have been around, but the migration is really rolling now. There will be ducks coming in any time.
Since I retired my schedule has revolved around the tides and seasons, don't count on me to show up on time for anything else!
Pinglist
The “critters” are spectacular too.LOL
You bring smiles, thanks!!
Thanks again SS
Great pics!
The stinkbugs in the first pic? You ever seen the alien looking critters on the underside of your tomatoes? The orange ones with black legs that look like they’re just gathered and waiting for the mothership? They’re immature stink bugs.
Even your dang BUGS are pretty, LOL!
And Marigolds!! In November! I’d give my left hind foot for a garden full or Marigolds this time of year. :)
Thanks once again SWAMPSNIPER for another pleasant interlude.
Them’s purdy
I’m told that yellow hibiscus is a rather rare thing...my landlady has them all over in the yard, though...
Beautiful!!!
The orange flowers (marigold-like) are brightening my desktop—thank you very much!
Very pretty! Thanks!
Here's one I know you will like.
I had to run an errand to Biloxi so I took the old Bay View drive. The shore birds were gathered around the effluent from one of the packing houses feasting on the tidbits of shrimp and fish draining into the bay. I saw the usual pelicans, great egrets and gulls, but also about 60 snowy egrets and 40 ibis. Just had to stop for a few pictures.
You know I’m hooked, I can’t wait to be pinged to your latest thread. I can smell the marigolds and rose.
THANK YOU!!
WOW!!!! Great picture!
Again great pics! Have a good day, neighbor!
Thanks, for the amazing picture. Snowy Egret is a great action shot. Some of us will take hundreds of pictures and not get one like that.
