The “Dentist” squeezed her head back in to shape after he pulled her tooth....I thought that was a special touch.
In terms of 3rd world realities, this is touching, something I appreciate & thank God for the ingenuity of human survival...BUT on the otherhand, a couple of years ago there was an official British government report of self-dentistry practiced in BRITAIN due to the shortage of dentists. ( Naturally the bottom line of the report was to ask for money for their system of state run healthcare...)
On the one hand India’s healthcare system shows individual initiative at its best:answering a needed situation with action rather than dithering & complaining. While in the West our way of life is being erroded and victimized by the governing classes, plagued by experts & scholars who know best for the rest of us.
