Matt 21:12 & 13 Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. "It is written," he said to them, " 'My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you are making it a 'den of robbers.'

Mark 11: 15 & 16 On reaching Jerusalem, Jesus entered the temple area and began driving out those who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves, and would not allow anyone to carry merchandise through the temple courts.

Luke 19: 45 & 46 Then he entered the temple area and began driving out those who were selling. "It is written," he said to them, " 'My house will be a house of prayer' ; but you have made it 'a den of robbers.' "

Did you ever read Matthew 23 when Jesus uses strong words to condemn the Pharisees?

There is nothing that demands that *love* must be mushy, feely good, don't ruffle anybody's feathers and tell them what they don't want to hear kind of behavior. Telling someone the truth is love. Not telling them the truth is hating them. It doesn't depend on the feelings of the hearer and whether the person feels *offended* or not.

Praying for someone to repent is good, but it is not enough. They need to hear the truth and for that to happen, someone must tell them. That requires a confrontation of some kind, a truth confrontation. The person hearing it often does not react well of receive it well, but that is totally beside the point. It is not love to let someone go on a self-destructive path that is going to lead them to hell.

The truth is that if someone doesn't accept the Jesus of the New Testament, the one and only God incarnate who died for our sins, one is not a Christian, no matter how *Christian* that person's behavior is.

And voting liberal is not conservative no matter what verbiage one spews and how one tries to justify it.

A true conservative cannot in good conscience vote liberal, no matter what label the candidate is wearing. Republican does not equal conservative. These days, the label of *Republican* is meaningless.

Ah, yes. Jesus did deliver the Sermon of the Parties where he clearly delineated the Christian position on 21st Century American politics. Don’t you have that one on DVD?
