................Either way, in my dictionary, that’s the definition of LOSER.........................

In my dictionary, a LOSER is one who cannot beat the current Socialist/Communist in Charge, ZER0.

I’m not really persuaded as to one’s politics, abortion, gun rights, or any other issue, other than getting this total A-Hole out of office.

At this stage - three years into the future, please don’t write off anyone that can ignite more than 50% of the electorate.

Just get this disaster out of office.

Now, If the freaks in SF can dump Pelosi; the beautiful folks in LA dump PigNose Waxman; kick Reid out of the casino in 2010; get rid of Dodd and Bwarney; then I’ll take a different stance looking into 2012 - after 2010.

But, right now, every pubbie, keep their powder dry!

I see what you're getting at.

You're willing to put up with a partial A-hole over a total A-hole.

If that's the best argument you can come up with to promote Romney's candidacy...

Once again, you want me to play the game.

It’s not a game, it’s my freedom, it’s my nation, it’s my family. To what would be the point to get Obama out of office, and to put in someone who’s not just about equally liberal on most issues I care about, but has the skills that Obama lacks in actually carrying out his desires?

If McCain was president right now, amnesty and the health care monstrosity would have already been passed. Sure, GM probably wouldn’t have become Government Motors, and the needed troops in Afghanistan would have been already sent, but I think we’d be in a worse mess today than we presently are in, simply because McCain would know how to sway the mostly liberal to join the cause.

So, no, my top priority is not getting Obama out of the White House, my top priority is supporting ANYONE, candidate or not, who speaks up in a conservative voice and tells the Empress Pelosi that she’s wearing no clothes.

My worst enemies are those who can advance the liberal agenda. Romney’s already instituted mandatory healthcare and signed into law homosexual shacking up. Accomplishments the dreaded Obama can’t even come close to laying claim to.

Nobody is writing anybody off.

What is Mitt Romney doing that right now that we should find inspiring?

I guarantee you, even if Sarah Palin didn't have a book out she'd be attracting thousands of people to hear her speak.

Can you say the same for Mitt Romney or Mike Huckaby or any other potential candidate?

Are we to be faulted for being so gung-ho for someone who is so gung-ho herself?

If Mitt Romney can't inspire people to camp out just to meet him THREE YEARS before an election, what makes you think he'll be able to do so ONE MONTH before an election?

This has been an interesting evening for me!

After I’ve been on these boards for more than 10 years - under a different addy, aShepard - I am now better understanding how the fissure between the conservative side of the realm, and the liberal side.

The liberal side had a 2008 choice of the female or the black guy - it probably made little difference what their idealogy was, but the union and the underdogs supported the black guy. No-one knew what the hopey/changy thing was all about, no one cared what he was all about, no liberals looked into his radical muslim background, he was the anti-Bush!

He Won!

Tonight, having experienced the “noobie revenge,” a couple of kitties, I truly see the fissure within our Conservative/Pubbie party(s).

We all have this loathing for the “RINO’s”; the pro-choicers; the anti-gunners; the health carists; the big governmentists; the whatever issueists.

But we are not coherent. We all go off on our own key issue.

Me, my key issue is to get this disaster of a president, and the Rat movers out of congress. If that means that RINO’s move in, so be it. Just change the current balance of power.

If each of us wants to change government to mirror an individual cause, or selected causes, we’re doomed.
Remember that only about 55% of us pay income taxes, so the rest will vote to increase their take: the deck is already stacked against capitalist reform.

Go over to DU, or any other RAT website. Most of the discussion is centered about the F@@kin repubs, not about dissention within their ranks. They all drink the same kool-aid.

We will have a difficult time ferreting out the RATs, unless we tone down our internal squabbles to present a more united political front.

My point of my post about FR bashing Romney at this stage of the fight, was not to promote him, but to quell the internal invective within our ranks!

Thanks for the experience!
