One of Ireland's best-loved priests, Father Brian D'Arcy, has called for the resignation of clergy who knowingly covered up for child sex-abuse priests.

Of course it does, why do you think the pope protected cardinal law, whisked him away from the USA and gave him a cushy new job in Rome? One criminal protecting another criminal.. The popes KNEW this was and continues to go on and their answer has been and continues to be to shuffle the molesters around, shovel it under the rug and protect the offenders. How can I say this? Simple = cardinal Law. Until the “pope” and the RC church coughs him and others like him up to the police, it is all “smoke and mirrors.”

Rather than answer the question as to WHY Rome protected AND CONTINUES to protect the criminal Bernard Law to this very day (A man who aided, abetted and protected numerous child molesters within the church FOR DECADES while he served in Boston and elsewhere), by whisking him out of the country to ROME where he was appointed BY THE POPE HIMSELF to a rich cushy new job as “cardinal”. A position which he STILL HOLDS because the new “pope” STILL refuses to remove him from office in spite of the facts! As a result Law is still pontificating and spiritually lording it over a new "flock" of unsuspecting sheep waiting to be fleeced. Rather than answer this travesty of justice, you resort to calling names!
As someone who was born and raised in Massachusetts and who has lived in New England for almost fifty years and who is sadly all too familiar with the machinations of the Massachusetts legal system, the corrupt Mass political machine, the Roman Catholic Church in Massachusetts and the archdiocese in Boston; the answer to your question as to WHY he was allowed to escape justice in Boston is simply this:
He was ALLOWED to escape justice because Cardinal Law and the Roman Catholic church in BOSTON were and are VERY powerful and politically influential, and they have powerful and corrupt people within the government and enforcement in their pockets. This is why the criminal Law was allowed to escape justice and flee the country into the waiting, protective arms of ROME where he (and multitudes of other child molesting priests, cardinals and bishops around the world) is protected to this very day by the pope himself and by the Roman Catholic church.

As a minister who has previously served as a prison chaplain for five years in New England I can safely say that if this had been you or me we would not be living like Law, we would be in prison for a very long time.

Yes, I read that in BETRAYAL (The Irish power click). But let me ask you... Why did not anyone in the US try asking Rome to send Law back here to face charges?...
He left for Rome and that was the end of the story! NEVER HEARD ANYTHING AGAIN!.. Are there any books that cover this particular subject?... "WHY CARDINAL LAW ENDED UP IN ROME?" That would be a good title :) Again, if you can provide me with any reading material on this I would appreciate it.
Many people think I hate the church... NO, but I know the SOONER we talk about this LOUDLY, the Sooner the church will clean up and turn a new chapter... If they don't the rumors will persist for ever...
