final score:
111 against Z 15 for Z.
Well, something needs to be done to the Z manatee
Frontier justice? lol Now why would they want to do that after holding onto the rule of law through all the crap that's been thrown at them?
I really do not know. But if I was the President, I would issue a directive to the military to get him out by all means.
Thank God.
Obot Zelaya goes down. :-)
Obumbo: Well, we all know what a popular leader Zelaya is.
One Usurper supporting another Usurper.
0ba-Mao is pretending the whole thing doesn't exist. He's voting 'present' again. Not hard to do since the MSM is doing nearly the same thing re Honduras. That includes Fox News. Pathetic coverage by them all.
The attorney general and SC say that criminal charges still stand against him so they should go ahead and try him for treason and whatever other charges they have.
Except for America in 2006-2008.
C’mon Venezuela, you’re next.

Enhorabuena!!!!
If I were the Heritage Foundation or some other think tank in D.C., or the Republican Campaign Committee, I would have several researchers immediately down there to Tegucigapla as guests of the Honduran Government for three weeks writing a detailed timeline, plan, analyses of strategy, reaction of the people, marketing and branding of the successful presidential election, the whole nine yards to learn from little Honduras as a way to apply this to our own increasingly dire situation under the phoney, President Patrice Lumumba Obongo.
Oh, the irony.
Obama went into power saying that America on the global stage talked too much, and that he was going to respect and listen to smaller nations much more intently. Here is a beautiful chance to go and interview a "small country" and see exactly what they did to restore democracy and freedom from an attempted Bolivarian Socialist takeover. Indeed, a David took down an alliance of regional Goliaths who all ganged up on it.
The cast of players were brilliant. From the Supreme Court. To the National Assembly. To within Zelaya's own party and opposition (Conservative Parties). To the Catholic and Protestant Clergy. To Honduran Veterans Organizations who turned out guys in their 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s, who said "no way this Republic is going to the Communists. Over my dead body." To the National Armed Forces. To the aircraft control tower operators at Tocontin Airport preventing Mel from Returning. To the Honduran media outlets.
These are all organs of power we may in fact need in this country if push comes to shove and they try to steal our Republic. A lot of us just won't put up with it, and little Honduras INSTRUCTS, if not EMBOLDENS US ALL!!
The last I heard from a knowledgeable Latin American source over breakfast, is that Mel Zelaya's laptop left behind is a treasure trove and is extremely damaging and could point to some very senior US people, certainly to Chavez and FARC elements.
We are talking about possible impeachable offenses here. Your instincts are right and you are on the to the correct trail. That of the Universities, Carter Center/OAS/those types of people, Colombian drug lords, Chavez, and the various Workers Federations in alliance with SEIU who also more than likely had people down there in Tegus.
PS Now watch desperate Chavez start a border war with Uribe of Colombia to get attention off of this and to push forward some of his own agendas, some of them very eye-opening in the Latin American drug transshippment business. Keeped tuned folks. This is going to become a real circus.
Thanks for your reply.
By the way, I have little doubt that the murder of the 24-year-old nephew of interim Honduran President Roberto Micheletti is somehow in the same mix. I am not a big believer in coincidence when it comes to thugs like Ubama and his mob.
Hugo is certainly trying hard, but I think Obama’s newest cat’s paw in LatAm is going to be Lula of Brazil. Hence the “gift” of the oil drilling.
Brazil is a bigger, potentially more powerful country and Lula, who started by actually being less leftist than his reputation, now seems to be opting for the full leftist package and is agitating on behalf of Zelaya. Don’t forget that Zelaya is in the Brazilian embassy, and even though the embassy was technically unstaffed at the time (no ambassador was in residence), it was still Brazilian and Zelaya’s stay there was obviously done with the complicity of the Brazilian government.
“Now we need to do the same thing to the Zero.”
Never underestimate the “brilliance” of independents who read the New York Times. You can count on them to re-elect the same Marxists, socialists and psychotic revolutionaries who’ll stroke their superior, above-it-all egos.
IMHO
“Now lawmakers have even snubbed international demands that he be allowed to serve the final two months of his presidency.”
“What a freaking stupid demand.”
Not a stupid demand but a calculating, “nuanced” one, filled with bullying, left wing threats of lawsuits, subversion and unrest until they get their way while propagandizing the lawmakers as renegades and perpetrators of military coups.
IMHO
