There was a PR guy on with Scarborough this AM that said that all this would not impact negatively at all on TW’s career and endorsements. He said that people buy what TW sells because TW is the greatest golfer the world has ever known and what he does in his private life doesn’t matter.

To her credit, Mika Brezinski was the only voice of reason in that conversation. She was taking the side of the wife and children and wondering how anyone could buy what TW endorsed knowing how he hurt his family.

I think as more and more is known and the tawdrier all this gets, Nike, etc. may not be so eager to use TW as their poster guy.

Precisely.

Heck, the entire PGA is under the microscope right now given the nastiness that Woods has brought to them.

Makes me wonder what his army of sponsors is going to do next.

This goes double for the sponsors that hawk Woods' ugly face to kids, such as Wheaties and EA Sports video games.

I think you're absolutely right. When you look at Tiger, you don't think of the product. You think of women, or should I say 'sluts.'
