This is the problem with the mainstream GOP. Killing endangered whales is wrong, killing endangered tigers is wrong. Who gives a damn what boat or what group is protecting the animals. I for one would like my children and grandchildren to be able to see those whales and not see them go the way of the dinosaur.

Please provide a source for your 'endangered whales' being killed.

"... the dinosaur..."?

I think we're better off without T.Rex and raptors running around eating us.

I didn't know Japanese whalers were registered republicans. And I didn't know Michael Steele had killing endangered tigers on the GOP platform either.

Maybe we don't like the that douche and his anti-whaling boat because he's just like most libs: walking around believing it's his god given right to force everyone to live the way he sees fit.

Killing endangered whales is wrong, killing endangered tigers is wrong.

On what basis?

Who gives a damn what boat or what group is protecting the animals.

People who care about the rule of law.

I for one would like my children and grandchildren to be able to see those whales and not see them go the way of the dinosaur.

I see, the basis of all your ranting is what emotionally gratifies you. That's not a foundation for a moral code.

Good Lord man, get a grip. They aren’t hunting the whales that the tourists go on the cruises to see. The whales they hunt are fairly common. That said, I do not necessarily condone whaling but they are not depriving your children or grandchildren of anything. In fact, it’s radical people like the nut who would risk the lives of his crew to get his name in the papers that are a greater risk to the future well being of your family. When you have nothing but tofu for dinner you can thank the ecoterrorists.

Want to artificially flood the Everglades to keep the Apple Snail Kite flying? Want to stop someone who’s purchased property from developing it because of some friggin’ salamander? Want to veto hydropower because of a mugwort? Want to watch the Imperial Valley dry up and blow away because of some damn smelt? Because the logic you apply to whales applies to those species as well.

Killing endangered whales is wrong,

You do understand that the whales they are taking are not endangered?

No more endangered than the cows they take to slaughterhouses and hang from a hook.

Is your grocery store a market for the scum of the Earth?

So buy one and care for it.
