I worry about the fawns being easy prey for predators

At least in most species, the albino trait results in poor vision, making the animal especially subject to predation because it can't see what's approaching as early as a normal animal. And for some species, like birds, the poor vision seriously hampers their ability to find food.

Neat. I saw two white deer, well, one white the other white with two large brown spots in the Manassas battlefield park. When I first saw them I thought they were goats. Haha.
