Good evening!
Another week, another Dem disaster in the making...this time it's Gov. Paterson of NY, who's reported to be in scandal mode free fall. However IF he should resign, that would probably be a slight plus for his party...moving him out of the picture.
Another storm will take aim at the Mid-Atlantic area this week, dropping more inches, not feet, probably of snow on the region this time.
Operative word being “saw”...duhh I get it now.
I am a lot slow lately
So I am so not looking forward to the snow because I’ll have to shovel whatever accumulations we get.
I have everything at home we need so I really don’t need to go out but I do have to try to drop by the dentist sometime today.
I called out for tomorrow because if we only get a few inches in the morning, it’s the drive home that will get dicey and my aging nerves can’t handle it anymore.

hello. totally snowed in here. the men left early this morning to attend a meeting. wondering if they’ll make it home tonite, or have to stay over and wait it out.

I got some good bargains at the grocery store.
D called, my sweet potatoes are ready, out to face the weather (in my short pants and short sleeve shirt) and walk to the big house where the cooking is done. D fixes me things so when I get hungry I can just pop it int the micowave.

So did D, she is cooking up entire meals to sell to help Allie pay for her trip to Brazil and she is selling a lot of them, Oh how times have changed, I offered to let her take my camara with telephoto lens, etc., but she advised me that folks didn’t use that kind of old fashioned camera.
Sheesh, I am telling you the world is going to hell in a hand basket.

Hi sweetie...I can barely handle that drive on a good day. let alone whatever we are going to get tomorrow.
Got back from the dentist and feel better...go for the perms in May...I was mistakenly thinking this was it and wasn’t very happy.
Cripes. What is taking so long with the permanent ones?
Did you know that research has shown that sweet tates makes your hair grow? Before startng to eat sweet ‘taters’ I would cut my hair once a month, now it is once a week.

Two college students were arrested (felony) for throwing snowballs at a snow plow and police car. If that happened when I was younger I would be serving life. ;-)
Of course, I would NEVER throw at a police car.
they say 6 months to heal...then they do impressions and i’ll get the perms...
Either I was so drugged up I didn’t hear that, or they never told me.
My plan is to just go back every 3-4 weeks because really the healing is progressing fairly quickly, I think.
hmmm well i have to stop eating them then. I keep my hair short and costs a LOT to cut it every month ;-)
Ugh! I am in Denver for at least 3 weeks and it is always snowing here, too!! ;-))
