You might stop your hero worship for a momment and realize that F15Eagle is only another FReeper, whom I’d trust over a sports player.
As far as Mannings motives, it is a tradition of NFL sportmanship to do the handshake. Not following that tradition is rightly questionable by any true sports fan.
That tradition went bye-bye in the Super Bowl when the NFL decided to quickly get in the Lombardi Trophy celebration in, so that CBS could get to their regular programming sooner. They were practically pushing players aside to get the podium setup.
I have had to root for a lot of teams that lost a lot, too.
But ... occasionally ... a win! lol

There is no hero worship to my statement. I don’t worship any human being. I was just responding to what I consider petty attacks on a true competitor and a gentleman. You guys are being legalistic about NFL tradition. F15Eagle should be man enough to overlook just a petty “misdemeanor” on the part of Manning.
