I have been here for over 10 years and have found most of what is not allowed is for a pretty good reason. Credibility is important, and the people who own the site are the best to judge what reduces their credibility.

I am a conservative, but on economic matters, I am a whole lot more progressive than most here. So much that I am routinely called a socialist libtard troll. Yet, I have not been censored. There have been some sites I could not post from, but some of those were just plain wierdo sites, and the others were big publishers who do not permit their sites to be posted on here.

I would suggest you relax and hang out and not get your undies in a wad until you have been here for a while.

First, remember that FR is privately-owned. We are allowed to make article and comment contributions - indeed, that’s the success of this site - but, in the end, the owner has the final say.

That said, I am generally in favor of open discussion, provided it’s clean and tasteful ( no promoting crime, etc.) Better to “jaw-jaw” etc.

Of course, due to past incidents, the Mods probably find it simpler just to ban certain sources (Wikipedia, for example).

BTW, you’re not the only one to experience this. :-)

FR has to protect itself in both legal and credibility terms -- I don't know about that site, and I can't begin to examine every web and media outlet to see what *I* think should be on here or not, but if it bothered me a lot I could always go and start my own website or blog...... this is not *my* site.... and I think FR does a darned good job of trying to protect itself and keep a great conservative forum going here
