Ping.

One thing to watch out for, immigration legislation is getting buz right now.

It’s heating up, FRiends. McCain is screaming about the “avatar ad”. He’s rounded up numerous endorsements [including my governor — McDonnell — grrrr!].

But Hayworth’s campaign is pushing McCain to be better, even dumping the vitamin regulation bill.

All of this has led to GilGil believing that internals must be bad for McCain.

GilGil pointed something else out — people are seeing into a politician’s soul from a single minor issue [such as the vitamin regulation bill].

McCain is so transparent that were he to win which he won’t the day after his victory he would be endorsing another supplements bill to take all sups away from people.

It is as if politicians are applying 19th century political techniques to a 21st century citizenry. McCain has a buy-’em a glass of beer for their votes attitude.

The other thing is that he has become lazy not wanting to do the really hard heavy lifting. They think they can get away with cookie cutter politics. McCain is making the same mistake Martha Coakley made. He thinks he has it in the bag and his whole demanor implies it. He wants to coast to the finish line without doing much of anything and collect his prize.

I remember during the lection how he hated his conservative base and he threw us all under the bus. Then a month or two ago he did this interview on Hannity and he just went on and on about how his audience was such a great audience of great Americans and how we were all the future blah, blah, blah.

He went from trashing us to saying that we were great because now he needs the vote. What a weasel!

Grant Woods, former AG, Goes Banananas Against Hayworth for McCainiac
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2488109/posts
“The idea that a man like John McCain has to deal with a Bozo like J.D. Hayworth is really offensive,” says former state attorney general Grant Woods. “To have just a caricature of the opportunistic, bombastic politician throwing grenades at him at this stage of his career is really a sad commentary. Someone needs to drive a wooden stake through this guy’s heart.”
